SafeSpace  is a Non Profit Organisation (pending) with its roots in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa, seeking to transform how Gender Based Violence is addressed by government and the civil society.

Lawyers Against Abuse – Provide holistic legal and psychosocial support to victims of gender-based violence and to facilitate systemic change through strategic engagement with state actors and the communities in which we serve.

The Uyinene Mrwetyana Foundation was founded in celebration of the life of Uyinene Mrwetyana who is remembered by her loved ones as a person who stood out from the crowd. Uyinene was knowd to be inquisitive, forthright and vocal about the various social ills which plague our society – including patriarchal oppression and issues of gender-based violence.

SA Women Fight Back is a community of united women who network to bring about legislative change and support for all women and children in South Africa. Through non-violent, collaborative engagement we lobby to combat gender based violence and hold government and other authorities accountable for the safety, empowerment, equality and justice for all.

It is for this reason that #WeRiseUnitedSA partnered with these phenomenal organisations, as our moral compass and goals aligns perfectly while we aim to empower young people to stand against violence.
